Scholarship Awards - 2026-27

Zachary Haas

Zachary Haas is an accomplished young man and worthy recipient of the scholarship.  His list of accomplishment include: Sandusky High School Marching Band, Combined Concert Band, Wind Ensemble and Blue Notes Jazz Band.  He also participated in the BGSU High School Honors Band and the OMEA District 2 High School Honors Band,  He was a participant in the OMEA District 2 Solo and Ensemble competition earning superior ratings.  He is also currently a teacher's aide of the 8th Grade band.  Trombone is his primary instrument.  He also participates in the Drama Club, the tennis team and a National Honor Society Member.  He has been accepted by Bowling Green State University and will be attending this fall.

Camaron Morris

Camaron Morris is graduating from Findlay High School this spring.  His participation in instrumental music is quite extensive.  In grades 6 - 8 he played cello in the orchestra and trombone in the band.  He participated all 4 years in Marching band and Jazz band.  He was Field Commander in Marching Band this past year.  He also played in the musical pit for 3 years.  He participated in OMEA District 2 for 3 years, playing trombone, baritone and euphonium.  He also played in the Findlay Community Band, the Findlay First Edition Combo, Steel Drum band and the Symphonic Band.  Camaron is also in Honor Society, Band Co-Vice President, Scholar Musician Award recipient, Track and Field as a pole vaulter and an Eagle Scout.    Cameron will be attending the University of Dayton in the fall.  He is another worthy recipient of this scholarship,
